This hotel is a literal nightmare. The filthy room was a disgrace with hair, stains, and roaches everywhere. Also, waiting ages for staff is about par for the course here, I was practically begging for my $100 deposit back. I almost considered giving a positive review but simply couldn’t due to the abysmal standards!

missingWrote a review on Nov 02check-in delay
Check-in turned into quite the wait due to overbooking, leaving me uncertain if I’d even get a room after a 45-minute delay. The bed felt springy and uncomfortable, not the best for a good night's sleep. Bathroom amenities were lacking with just two towels provided, which isn’t enough when expectations rise with the room type reserved.

I stayed for one night as part of my travels to see the nearby Florida State University Museum of Fine Arts. The location was decent, making it easy to explore attractions like the Tallahassee Museum and Lake Jackson Mounds Archaeological State Park, which are just a short drive away. However, I was disappointed with the room. it had issues that were hard to overlook, particularly with cleanliness. Overall, it wasn't the experience I was hoping for on this trip.

Nice staff, bad bugs!
So, Jordan at the front desk was super chill and the housekeeping team was friendly. But wow, there were roaches everywhere! Not cool. Rooms were a bit outdated, definitely not what the pics looked like. The breakfast options were decent, but I wish the bug situation was handled better.

Wi-Fi was strong, free parking was handy. Check-in took longer than expected.

Family with children beware
So, I got to the front desk and it took a while for someone to show up to check me in, which was already a bad sign. But then I realized that I had to take out my own trash, which was unexpected and honestly a hassle.
It wasn’t cheap but for what you get, it feels like a stretch.
